    Default Broad Creek Marine 32

My wife, kids and I waited 2 years for the build and finally it was delivered 2 weeks ago. We love it, my wife love it especially the head, the boat runs like a dream (cruises at 25mph at 2000 and tops out at 34 mph at 3000), sips fuel (I think about 6.5 gallons an hour at cruise), and takes a following and head too sea better than expected.

The builder was Herman and Ronnie Haddaway from Nevit (Broad Creek Marine out of Easton). Herman is a true eastern shore legend. Ronnie has become a fine boat builder in his own right. I can say that the experience was great, these guys are honest, trustworthy, and do what they say they are going to do. I would do it again and would recommend them to anyone who wants a good, solid boat, with not many frills then this is your shop guarantee he is the most reasonable price around for all your fiberglass or boat needs.

I will provide a solid recommendation for this boat builder to anyone who ask.

    Thanks for the compliments.
Ha - no paddles needed yet!
I have a 330 cummings diamond b series running her. It is pretty basic set up with a raymarine e7 mfd, a nice radio, and a lectrsan toilet system. I cruise at 1850 rpm burning 4.5-5 gph at 25 mph and top out around 34-35 mph at 7-8.25 gph at 3300 rpm. She handles beautifully because the builder put a good rudder and right sized the wheel she response nicely. I haven't used it as much as I wanted this year I have two small boys 3-5 who have had some flu and other things this summer but plan on using it all weekend. The only problem I have had was air in the steering which I understand is fairly common in new boats but I fixed it in about 15 minutes after some advice from the builder and Mr Gootee from Gottees marine.
This winter we are putting in a windsheild wiper, windless with bow pulpit, ac/dc converter, a SS bow rail and a satilite radio system. Every year we will keep enhancing it till we dial it in the way we want it.

That's great! Could not have had a boat built by a better person.
I am already planning for my next build in 10 years or so.
