    Several of the males I saw Saturday had red claws. I flipped them over and I promise you they were males.

    Capt Dale's right, the ones in disguise can be hard to tell apart.

    Intersex fish are becoming common......safe to say crab will be too......not that there is anything wrong with that!

    Ive had quite a few Males with red claws my last 2 outings....... Swore my wife up and down she put Sooks in the basket, till she turned them over and proved me wrong!!! I can say though, its the first year I've seen it.....

    I HAVE SEEN MALE CRABS WITH RED CLAW TIPS, ON AND OFF. Dont know why they are red. I always thought / speculated that red males meant they would sluff soon... probably natty boh talking again....
