My name is Ryan and i am just getting in to rock fishing... would anyone be able to tell me any good spots for chumming and live lining around whitehall bay. And where to catch the spot.

Hey there lax gunner, I thought you fished for rockfish all last year, you never found any spots? Either way, Hacketts point has been on fire, right outside of whitehall bay. Anchore up in 30+ - feet of water and slay them! Good luck out there bud.

I personally haven't seen too many people chumming yet this year. I tried it about a week and a half ago at Love point with no luck what so ever and I was the only boat there that wasn't trolling. Sounds like the above poster may have had some good advice for you though.......Good luck and don't get discouraged if you don't have quick luck. It's still early in the season.
