Default Great Morning on the Pax!

Me and first mate Jim Jones a.k.a Hacksaw got a little late start this morning but we did have the line in the water around 6:30 or so. Depth finder was'nt working so we use the hook pole and off we went. We averaged about 6 keepers a run with all of them being around 5.5 to 6 in. about a dozen of them 7" after about 3/4 of a bushel we decided to call it a day and go pick up my new fishing partner for a boat ride. The crabs were full of meat and tasted some kinda good!

Nice job guys I will be going in the AM. Gonna use traps though. I'm certain they are not coming off the bottom like they should we'll see...

My new fishing partner did great out there! It is only her second time on the water this year and she loves it. She my first child and I'm a proud daddy. She's two years old and all she talks about now is fishing in hunting. Thanks for asking Gary and hopefully I can hook her up on alot of spot and HH the next time out. Good luck out there!

Thanks for the report. Any luck on the HH?

Fished SAT mid-day on slack tide at Broomes for about an hr. No takers as expected.

They should be showing up there on the oyster bars any day now.

Crabbed out of Broomes Island on Sunday, May 27. Caught nearly a bushel in 3 hours working the main stem in front of Cole Creek.
