Don't forget about the leaderboards

I have had almost no new entries for the two leader boards I set up last winter. The idea is that if you catch a fish larger than the previous largest (or smallest) fish of each species, you let me know, and I will put your name on the leader board posts. They are in the Sticky section of the SRRKC board.

This evening I caught a bunch of small rockfish around the mouth of Weems Creek while practicing ULTT (ultralight tackle trolling). I slow trolled three small spinner lures using ultralight rods from my kayak. My smallest rockfish was a 5.5" specimen caught on a small spinnerbait . I also caught white perch to 10" and one pickerel in two hours of fishing.
