Early Father's Day gift

Wow! my son surprised me with a great looking 6' custom: rod by Steve Fogel with real copperhead skin wrapping the rod from the reel seat up to the first guide. He added a Abu Garcia Revo Inshore reel. Steve, you out did yourself with this one! Early Father's Day was more than I could have ever expected. The snake skin harkens back to many years ago when my son was a little guy and watched with wide eyes as I and friends flipped over our Sunfish hull which was lying in the weeds only to discover a nest of copperheads, one of which I impaled with a garden implement, put up on the dock for him to see which he remembers vividly after 30 years. Thanks a million Chris.

That is a great gift from a very thoughtful Son. You did a good job with him and it really pays off. Steve makes a nice custom rod but yours is REALLY custom. If my snake ever bites me..........he will be a custom rod!...............Gary
