This morning I hit a rock (HARD) with my 2008 Suzuki 140 Jet and the cowling popped off the engine and was lost to the river gods.... I have never seen an engine cover come off before....Now I hit hard and square on the intake so the engine took the shot, but there are 3 clamps that hold the cover on (held the cover on)

Now I am in need of a cowling for a 140 Suzuki (understand Johnson covers fit as well) If anyone has any thoughts on where I can get one I'd appreciate the input.

On a similar note, will running the engine without a cover cause any issues besides the aesthetics and extra noise?
