Went out in the kayak Sunday afternoon, lots of wind but I found a little "kinda" cove "kinda" out of the wind but I had to get to it first. Started to troll to the "kinda" cove "kinda" out of the wind, didn't get far and fish on, small white perch and small rock everywhere! Gave up trolling because everytime I started paddleing I would have a fish on. Paddled over to the "kinda" cove "Kinda" out of the wind and no fish! Messed around for just a few minutes and went back to where I was trolling in the wind. Casting most of the time and then started looking for the bigger fish, jigging with beatlespin produced the bigger fish so I tried a shorty hopkins with lots of hits but I think it was just too big. Stopped counting after 20 fish when I started playing around with different baits, at least 30 caught with plenty of quick releases all in about an hr and a half. Nothing big but still fun, biggest rock was about 16". White beatlespin but I don't think it would matter what color it was, in about 5' of water or less nothing in deeper water.
