Fished near Choptank River bridge and caught dozens of 4" - 8" baby Stripers while Perch fishing near the bridge pilings. Never caught so many small ones and have been fishing the River for years. Hope it is a good sign for the future....

Remember last year's spawn was the second largest on record. In a couple years those little guys will be keepers.
i fished belvidere today and couldnt keep rock off my lines. all 5-7"
Was out in the Pax yesterday afternoon. I never seen so many small hardhead and small rock in my life. Twice I had to move because I was catching only small rock. My sinker would barely hit bottom before I would hookup and several times I was pulling up doubles.
Lots of 5-7" rock and baby croaker on the lower Nanticoke too.
hey they gotta eat too .... they are gonna hang out with the perch so they don't get eaten by their own kind!! Only way they are gonna get to grow up to the size that we are all looking for![]()
Same thing north of the BB, can't catch anything except small (4"-12") rockfish. Could be great in 5 years?
