Awesome
I had to work Memorial Day but got all my gear lined up before work so I could leave as soon as I was home. Left the house about 6:15 last night and was between buoy 10 and 8 in about 20 feet of water by 7:45 pm. I was putting out my 4th line when I had another of my lines start screaming out drag. I got that red in, it was a 43 incher. Then had a couple more runs and caught them. Then it starts to get really crazy. I had a triple, one rod in my hands and 2 more go off, the other rods are in rod holders and it looks like the fish are trying to break the rods off. One line gets wrapped around another rod and that line breaks. I get the first fish in and onto the other one and I break off that one. I had a couple doubles lost some and I got some in. Texting friends and getting lines screaming drag. The boat was a mess, hard to keep lines in the water. I had one screamer that almost splooled me turn and charged back to boat. Reeling fast as I could finally caught up to the fish, it was like marlin fishing when they are yelling reel, reel, reel. Trying to tag fish and ran out of tags. Charles and Ken where beside me and brought me more bait when they were leaving. I caught a couple more after they left, then had a big ray on for about 30 minutes. It was about 6 feet across, did not feel like a ray so I had cut several other lines off trying not to loose it. Rerigged by then bite had slowed and wind picked up so I headed in about 12:30. I landed at least 12 fish probably more I lost count and had several break off and 4 or more that I just could not get to. Bait mostly was peeler and clam combo. I did catch some on hard crab but JT had given me a bunch of peelers so I was using them. I have had a bunch of not so great trips this year; last night was why I keep trying. My biggest fish was 47 inches most were 44-45 inches and all reds. I have some pics at home but they are fish just laying on the deck, I was solo.
Awesome

Absolutely great fishing. I do not know how many Ric ended up with. We could just hear drags screaming from his boat. Harry went and scooped up some more crabs after they ran out so they could finish with an even 20.
