I received a note from VMRC on the Tautog Season Regulations and Limits for 2012 and thought I would post the information since there was a thread a while back and some confusion about the season.

2012 Virginia Tautog Season
Opens: August 1, 2012
Closes: December 31, 2012
Limit: Four (4) fish
Minimum Size: 16 inches
