Im going to wait. Friday is going to get worse as the day goes on
Considering OI this Friday and Saturday (its over a 7 hour tow). Friday AM looks decent, not so much for Friday evening and Saturday when I will be there. Sitting on the proverbial fence with a Albemarle 24 about making the journey or not. Hope the forecast will either improve or worsen so the decision will be easier! With the wind direction it *should* be doabe but sloppy returning with west wind and short periods. I vote for improve!
Anyone else considering going?

Bloomin' forecast won't steady-up. Never was great, but shifted worse today. Yesterday was thinkin' maybe OK Sat, but not now. Don't want to be a statistic ( http://www.witn.com/home/headlines/B...154275965.html ). Now I'm also planning on shifting forward a day to Sunday - If we can change room reservations. Workin' on that!
Humm... If it does lay down Sunday, I'll bet the ramp parking will be full.

I'm thinking Sunday as well, hope it doesn't get any worse saying W 10 to 15 currently.
I gave up and pulled the plug. Due to work, the distance, and reservations, I don't have the luxury of last minute decisions. Inshore looks sorta OK but the offshore (SUN- W TO NW WINDS INCREASING TO 15 TO 25 KT LATE. SEAS 4 TO 7 FT), not so good. Could be super sloppy coming back in. The offshore forecast goes way out. Wish there was a 20-40 nmi forecast range!
Of course I fully expect it to lay down completely now that I scrubbed the mission! You guys can thank me ;) Plan to try again the following (9th) weekend.

PS: Boost, I drive a '90 240SX to work almost daily. Lookin' rough around the edges but runs well at 300K miles.

Thank you Woody....
I plan on heading down mid day and see what happens.I'll be down for two weeks waiting for some nice days to fish.
The fish are there I just need some cooperating WX.
Sunday still may be OK.I'll see.Sounds like I'll be trying for flounder mid week in the inlet with the NE wind forcast.
Come on vacation.
