    Figures - we get a great early eason bite developing, and now it has to blow for the next week. Damn.

    The only thing I hate worse than sitting at the dock looking at this

    would be the arse beating from a 6ft se swell with a 15-20 nw wind

    None of the wind models agree with each other. Some show winds below 10 knots for Sat and Sun some show 20 or more knots. NOAA is safe siding on the high side which is probably the right thing to do. I'm staying inshore this weekend despite seeing great looking breaks out there.

    Yep.....just bought a bunch of new trolling gear, a gaff, a fishbag, and some other stuff.....ready to give it a go when the weather decides to cooperate.

    I'm betting they're all wrong again and planning on Sunday. We'll see what it looks like after this stuff moves thru tonight.

    Me thinks Sunday will be fine...but I agree the models are just not agreeing w/each other. Makes it really hard to make decisions when u aint got 60' under ur a$$.
