nice work jim!! im back down this tues or wed!
Almost a carbon copy of last week, But Bigger-Nicer Crabs this time.
Started today around 6:00 Used 28 (lost two baits-baiting up WTF!) Collapsible traps trimmed with Chicken.
Caught the backend of the out going tide, Water temps 74/76degress.
Picked up four on the first run & six on the sceond and about the same as last week. Averaged about 6-7 per pull.
Water depth was 5-6ft. Water quality still was very clean and clear.
Most crabs caught and kept were in the 6-1/2" to 7-1/2" range. Threw a lot of white bellies back.
Crabbed til about 9:30 the wind starting blowing again-called it a day ended up with almost a bushel.
