23rd Tuna-ment - June 22-24 - OC, Wachapreague & Chincoteague

The 23rd annual Tuna-ment is the perfect way to get ready for this year's tournament season. The Tuna-ment welcomes all boats and anglers. 2011 saw an increase in boats (31) and we hope to once again increase our numbers to 50 boats. Sam Fisher took first place last year with his 111.4 pound bluefin earning him $10,880. Sam fished out of Wachapreague on his 36 Fountain.

When: June 22-24 (fish two of three, declare lay-day by 10:30 AM that day)
Where: Waters of the Atlantic Ocean
Fishing Hours: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Weigh Stations: Ocean City, MD - Sunset Marina; Chincoteague, VA - Curtis-Merritt Harbor; Wachapreague, VA - Seaside Marina
Weigh Station Hours: 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Captains Meetings: All meetings are on June 21 from 6-8PM and will have FREE food, drink, and door prizes

Chincoteague - Captain Steve's Bait & Tackle
Wachapreague - Seaside Marina
Entry Fee: $250 (per boat) + Optional TWT's $50, $100, $200, $300, & $500 + Special Categories - $100 Dolphin and $100 Bluefish

New to this year's tournament is the 'Lay Day' rule. Captains will be required to determine their Lay Day by 10:30 AM on the day of their choosing. Similar to most offshore tournaments.
