Big Game Spinning Rod Suggestions

I am looking to buy a new spinning rod for the beach. I am aiming for a 7 ft. at the biggest to be able to comfortably use on my kayak and also to surf fish for bigger fish. I do not aim for anything, normally just use about a 5-7 inch fish as bait. My current 12 ft. ugly stik is nice but impossible to take on a kayak as you can imagine and I do not enjoy the size when fighting fish. Also the tip is a bit flimsy though that might be me being paranoid as I think it is going to break every time I cast. I use 40-50 pound braid and I would not like to spend more than around a 100$. A little more is fine. Any rod suggestions? I checked out a few brands on Bass Pro but very little reviews if there was any at all.
