Thumbs up Severn River Fishing Report June 8 2012

I got out today with another good friend Jim rivers on the Severn river and the tide was out going at 5 am with little to no winds. We went to Maynadier creek and the fish are still there. We were using my 1/8oz feather spinner baits and I also used my 1/32oz Glo-jig under a float about 18" to 24".This day we had no clouds so we had to get them while it was cool.We worked the shore lines and piers. We did better all the way in the back of the creek in 2' to 5' of water. On this day the spinner was hot and I mean when you get a fish on every cast that's hot.The perch were from 5" to 11" and we caught 160 or more in 6 hours, you can't beat it being out there with a good friend catching fish one per cast.My good friend Jim took 5 or 6 nice perch home to eat and we gave about 15 nice perch to another friend on the water and release the rest for another day.So make time to go fishing you will be glad you did and GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS..........WOODY
