    Default Flounder BRR

Had some great flounder action the past two weekends at BRR. Last Saturday we had the reef to ourself, the morning weather must have kept people off the the water in the afternoon, bought two home one 25" 8lb and the other just around 19. Yesterday was a great day to be first at the reef pulled about 10 fish off the structure with 5 keeping from 18 to 20. Fish were caught on cut bait.

My apologies to the guy who dropped his rod in the water when I pointed out he was about to hit the marker, even though its soft the motor could hit the chain, didn't think you would panic like that. To the other guy who broke his rod in half trying to get out of snag, don't grab the rod at the mid way point and pull especially with braided line.

Its great to be back in Hampton Roads after 18 months in San Antonio going to school. I grew up near the bay and I always miss her when I am gone.

Thanks, I am hooked on the flat fish! There is something about that door mat that keeps me going back!

Bringing home a flounder once in a while keeps my fishing pass from the wife active. It is by far hervorite fish. I like them too, but that is beside the point. As long as they are good enough for her to let me fish, it's all good to me.

Nice job on getting on em.
