Default Cobia Report Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Friday was kind of a jacked day, having very small windows to fish, left at 12 fished until 2:15, saw 4 caught and released a 60lber and pulled off a small one. Came in dropped off part of my bikini clad "crew" then Lauren her 4yr old little girl and I headed back out, Ava caught her first cobia, about 6pounds but she did great!

Saturday I had a half day trip, left at 9 am had our first fish shortly after getting settled in, I think we were 5 for 5 then we saw a pair, caught the bigger but the smaller wouldn't eat, little shithead ruined our average for the day! Called it a day (so we thought) at 1:15 with a total of 8 caught and 14 seen. We ran in and saw a pair 150yds ocean side of the 1st island, smoked the bigger one on an eel and the smaller (40lber) pulled off on a buck tail. So our new total was 9 caught and 16 seen. Killed a 61# and a 30#, released a 50# and a bunch of smaller fish.
Saturday afternoon-Dropped my guys off Lauren met me at the dock and out we went again for a late afternoon quick trip, saw 1 caught 1, smaller fish. Also had a clear nose skate come up and molest my boat, i had to come down from the tower and grab it by his nose and peel it off the side of my boat. Weird!

Sunday Lauren and I left around 11 picked up a 42"er between the 3rd and 4th, worked up and down and all over the place today, saw about 15-20 mostly rats but probably 4 or 5 bigger fish. Caught 6 today and I think pulled off just as many. Saw quite a few pairs and triples today. we were off the water by 430 today.

I think of all the fish we caught only 4 were caught on eels, everything else was buck tails. No where in particular, 5 sets of buoys east of the 4th in the baltimore all the way to 2 or 3 sets past the CY buoy area.

Monday looks to be prob the best shot for the week and I am available, call or text 757-621-5094

    Sounds like a great weekend.

I was the guy that called you over to pitch an eel at the pair that wouldn't take my bucktail. We stayed out until about 3 then headed back for the 2 hour drive home, that pair where the only fish we saw today.
