Default Sharking laws in Virginia beach.

I know a few years back they outlawed sharking from shore. I want to get back into it and can't locate any current laws. Any info or a point in the right direction is greatly appreciated.

    Tight lines,

They only made is agenst the rules to chum from piers and the piers followed in suit to not allow shark fishing from them. The current rules state nothing other than a closed season if you go to a beach like down at false cape and yak your baits out your fine but still no chumming. From a boat your good to do anything just make sure it is a alowable species and season.
