I have more / less same boat ( 272 Sailfish ) , takes a decent truck to haul that .

Take it upon yourself to contact the CBBT and our bay bridge police. Ask them to review tapes to see it your boat was hauled through.

Might give you an idea which way the POS thieves went.

David: I can empathize what you are going through. Several years ago, I had loaded my boat on my trailer at OC to head home the next morning. It was parked about 50 ft from my ground floor apartment. When I came out early the next morning to hook it up to my car and get an early start, it was gone. Dealing with the police delayed our departure. About 3 days later, I received a phone call from the pound in Baltimore that it was picked up on the Baltimore beltway after the $hit heads had flipped the boat and trailer. When I got to it, it was totaled. That was in July, and it took my insurance company until November to reimburse me for the loss. Unless you have gone through this experience, there is no way that others can comprehend the roller coaster of emotions that you are experiencing. I hope that you are able to quickly recover this traumatic loss without any damages. Tight lines old friend.

Damn Dave I'm so sorry to hear this. I sure hope they catch the SOB that took the "Reel Buster". I'll call my buddy Eric at Bahia Marina in OC and let him know about this. Sure hope you get her back soon....

Sorry to hear about the boat David. You took me offshore several years ago and that was my first experience as a HO. It was a great day on the Reel Buster. I will keep an eye out for those Sob's and hopefully they won't make it far.

David: I'll keep a close eye out when on and off the water. I'm so sorry buddy. I hope your boat and trailer are returned like it was and that they catch the &^>%$ so they can be prosecuted.

Damn David that sucks. I know how much of your soul went into the Reel Buster particularly with the major restoration project. Lets hope they find it quick.

Dave I am very sorry to hear this thanks for the heads up, I was going to keep Southern Tide there this summer but I will have to rethink this now. Skip had a great idea! Maybe worth a shot nothing sweeter than getting your boat back and catching those POS!!
