Rock dwellers caught on fiddlers over the tube and the bluefish on a 6inch croaker live-lined. Another great day on the water.Attachment 61475Attachment 61476Attachment 61477
I really got into the sheepshead the year before I left for San Antonio, we caught 11 citations in one day, once in a life time. Pain in the arse to clean but a great tasting fish. Good job, I need to get me a big blue, I miss the fight those fish put on! Congrats

Yessir. Be careful of the "Rouge Rock" behind the 3rd (juts out further than the rest and is just barely visible), and all the rocks for that matter. With current and wind it can get very tricky and dangerous. Anyone who fishes it will attest. Make sure you have a wreck anchor and a little bit of chain if it's rougher conditions to keep you down. Those big boys fight hard, so have a stout rod and get ready to yank and crank!

Damn, that is one hell of a day, and great pullage! They are pretty tasty, but I think they are a little better in FL. Spadefish, on the other hand, is probably one of the best fish I've ever had. I'm a huge fan now!

As far as the blues go, they do put up one hell of a fight! I put in time for them every time I go out. Plus, they don't taste too bad if cooked right in the first 24hrs. Big baits, big fish is all I can tell you.
