Prayers needed!

I am sadly reaching out to all my TF brothers for help. My Mom Leslie was diagnosed with cancer three months ago, Lukemia to be exact. She has been undergoing chemotherapy at Alexandria Hospital, the same hospital where I was treated for cancer. While the chemo has been kicking her ass, it seemed to have been working. even though shes down to 90 lbs (shes 5'10") her numbers were good. Shes been needing blood and platelet transfusions on a near daily basis. Shes been complaining of a headache and double vision for the last 10 days. Today they gave her a CT scan and found bleeding in her brain and transferred her to Fairfax Neurological ICU. Now we know where the blood has been going and its not good. My mother is a very strong and tenacious woman. While prayers from family and close friends had seemed to be helping she now needs more.

Please take a moment and ask God for mercy for my Mom

Very sorry to hear the news Jeff, prayers for a full and speedy recovery sent.

My mom recently landed at UM Shock Trauma after falling down her stairs and suffering 3 brain bleeds then a partial craniotomy to relieve clotting and pressure. Shock Trauma saved her life and I would highly recommend them if you become dissatisfied with Fairfax ICU. You are your mother's best advocate, be strong, get second opinions and make sure her care is second to none.
