Default For the guys who do lead

Looking for someone who can do a 8-10 oz trolling sinker modified with a prong on one end, kind of like the walleye guys use, I have the prongs, and can supply the lead. I need about a dozen in about 1 to 2 weeks? Thanks.

If you are trying what I think you are - I did something similar years ago.

I used coat hanger wire about two feet long. Drilled a hole into the sinker - pushed wire in and then mashed hole to hold wire.

It worked OK. I also used # 17 wire off the three way to the sinker to stiffen the drop.
What could be more mundane than dying of old age or of natural causes when there is death by misadventure to be pursued ? Skip

Lou, if this is what you have in mind they're really easy to make yourself. PM me if you need help. I've got a bunch of inline trolling sinkers in your range that I'll never use other than melting them down to make jigs. I don't troll.

Yeah, kinda, I just want a single wire about 18" coming out one end instead of a brass loop, the other end remains unchanged. I want to have it cast (as in molten metal, not launching lures) that way. I don't play with lead, I won't even touch the new shinny sinkers.

Thanks, I may have one of my guys drill 'em and 5200 them if I can't get someone to do them, I think this is going to work...

If you drill the lead do it at sloooww speed. Too much speed could cause enough heat to melt the lead and then seize the drill bit when if cools a little. Mechanics gloves can help prevent finger injuries from such mishaps
