Launch on Pataspco - Early open

I need help finding a public launch that i used years ago in a little park near Dundalk, i dont think its one of the county parks that are gated and open at 6am. Id like to be able to launch early, and i cannot recall the name or exact loaction , its just a small park with one ramp and limited parking. HELP appreciated....directions from 695 would be awesome....can email personallly if you dont wanna broadcast it....local229org@comcast.net , thank you!!!! would like to get out eraly sat, and get some crabs for fathers day!

LOL....i was going to....its only an hour for me. Ive been running down to Eastern Bay last couple of weeks but didnt wanna go that far this weekend. Other than the polluton and competition is there anything i should know??

you are probably thinking of watersedge park- its gone
you can launch at mckluskys marina on jones creek early-- i believe it is $20

I think you are looking for Merrit Point State Park

From 695 take Merritt Blvd go about 3 miles to Dunnman Way, make left. Ramp is at end of parking lot.
It lets you out to Bear Creek to the Patapsco. About 1.5 miles on water

I think it was Watersedge....shame it closed. I eneded up running down to Crab Alley anyway, got 1/2 bushel of large crabs....tons of people which i expected for a Sat. but not that many! But by 9:30-10 am many were gone....stuck it out till about 11 am and it was so slow we called it a day. We had a pair of dolphins cruise by us on the one run, i was suprised to see them so far up the bay, they were only in about 10' of water! Thank you all for the feedback!

Are you sure they were dolphin? Skates have fins that stick up.

Im sure ,plain as day....a pair side by side.....dam near ran them over
