Default How much do you love your dog????

We were down to Charleston, S.C. last week to see our oldest daughter. Last Saturday she took her mother and I to "Old Town" Charleston to an out doors Farmers Market. Seems like they were having an open air Art Festable for the weekend also in the same park. The place was packed; people elbow to elbow. Now I do love our little dog Fluff O but those people of Charleston make me sick about their dogs. Makes one want to throw up. All the locals it seems take their dogs to the Farmers Market to walk around and everybody has to stop in the middle of the walk way and ask; "What type dog do you have.", "What's his name?", "Nice boy Fedddy. (as they pet the dogs head.) Mutts; pure bread; cross breeds you name it and it's there. One guy came by walking his three legged mutt. Now the one that beat all was this here old lady; mid 80's I would guess, pushing a baby carriage with her dog in it, all dressed up. Oh well to each their own I guess. We had a good time anyways. Last Thursday we were coming down a Street not far from my daughters house when we saw this here fellow on his bike get hit and knocked to the pavement by a car. Luckly for the fellow on the bike a fire truck was sitting right there at the scene of the acident and the fireman ran right to him. Car drove off, hope the fireman got his number. The fellow on the bike did seem to be OK, he got right up and was more concern about his bike. Daughter said Charleston is the number one city in the nation for people being kill while riding their bike. Saturday on the way to the Farmers Market we passed a park and there looked like a dead guy on a park bench. There was about 30 police officer, detectives and firemen. Area was taped off with that yellow, Do Not Cross tape. Oh well, can't wait for our next trip down to Charleston.

it took me 4 years ti finally get this puppy last year.... i dragged her out from under a barn in stony creek in march with 8 brothers.... they were 5 weeks old and covered in ticks and about to starve to death..... i brought her home and fed her with a spoon for a month....

i had a Rotty for 14 years... he died 4 years ago and his ashes are right here in the living room ... thought i would never be able to get another dog .... the minute i dragged her out from under that barn it was fate :::
