I went out on the Severn river with my good friend Pat and the tide was high at 5 am and with little to no winds. We started in the back of Maynadier creek and the bait fish were everywhere. The perch were from 4" to 12" and we were catching lots of them.We were working both piers and shore lines,in and out of shade. The rock fish were from 4" to 7".I wanted to fish across the river ,but since it was a Saturday there is no way I'm going across the river unless I want to swim back. After working this creek we went to Hopkins creek and found some more nice perch mix in with the small ones.I was using my 1/32oz Glo-jig in white & chartreuse under a float and my 1/8oz feather spinner bait in white & chartreuse and we caught a good 200 fish and Pat took 5 or 6 real nice perch home.We gave my friend Sid about 30 perch and the rest went free for another day OF fishing. So if you plan to go fishing good luck and GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS...............WOODY
