Default 6/15 - S of BB - Trolling Handtied combos of BFGs & StumpJumper Tandems

    Late Report

6/15 - S of BB - Trolling BFG & StumpJumper Tandems (best bite was 7:30-9:30am)

Took my Spring rigs, kept the bottom BFGs, removed the 9" shad and replaced with 4",5",6" shads
cut the longer lines and replaced with fluoro leaders and stump jumpers or bucktails with 4" shads.
I mixed the shad colors opposite the bodies (white/yellow or yellow/white),

Trolling the E channel edges just South of Bay Bridge Friday morning solo, (Think I was the only boat fishing !?!?) Non-Stop action! 18-24 range, with a 22 & a 28" going home for dinner. Totalled about 25 fish, with about 8 being under 12"

Two problems today - small fish that were hooked up but didn't know they were even on , and broke a planer board line ! = Kaos! (I kept pulling tight circles to stay in a hot area, and think it was pulling the board too hard...)

Most fish - WTF-FarBack rod was a 8oz BFG w/6" as weight, and spoon on the long line - this rod caught a lot of smaller fish on the spoon.

Biggest fish - on other rods which had heavier BFG w/4-6" shads and long lines on the tandems had StumpJumpers w/4" shads

    Awesome day on the water!
