    Default Lower Chester

Went out last night, checked my middle/lower humps and bumps and shallow spots. bait was EVERYWHERE. Marked lots of rockfish just off bottom, but they simply didnt want to bite. cant say i blame them, given all the bait. little bunker were all over the place.

I had the same thing happen to me. Last weekend caught tons of nice fish jigging and this week can't find anything over 12". I was fishing in the morning on an incoming tide when the bite was good. Did you notice what the tide was doing when you were catching?

Interesting thread to me. Planning on camping there again this weekend and was hoping to give it a try. When do the croaker show up in the area?

Should also say that the white perch were stacked in front of our camp ground over the weekend. All we wanted right off the beach. Nothing real big but there were keeper size to be had.

SMDfisher, We were at Bay Shore camp ground right near Rock Hall. It was our first time there and we loved it. They have a web site. Just google it and you will find it. The have seasonal spots, transient spots and tent areas. The camper spots have water and electric. We did really good on crabs too. We are going back this weekend.

Thanks, I did see them when I was Googling for places. Good to have a nice referral. Just might try it.

If you go you have to have breakfast at Yarmouth in Rock Hall. Best breakfast ever.
