NOTICE (06/06/05) --We are happy to report that a funding agreement for operation of the streamgaging station on the Potomac River at Little Falls has been approved and signed. The agreement provides for operating funds through September 30, 2006, and it is expected that funding wil be renewed on a regular basis thereafter. Funding is being provided by the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governnments, the USGS Cooperative Water Program, and the USGS National Streamflow Information Program. Water temperature and specific conductance monitoring are being supported by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
