Late Wachapreague report again

Fished Sat am with my wife and her sister, water was very dirty and the wind was out of control. Both girls were cold in the first half hour. Tried to hide from the wind which was not working, only fished about 1 1/2 hrs with one bite, 20" keeper. Pulled and went to powells creek, fished an hour and got the big skunk. Sun am wind was already blowing good so we did the sight seeing thing all day, would of loved to fish the afternoon on the incoming water, wind was laying down. A buddy of mine went down Monday morning, no wind, no cars at the ramp, caught 2 limits in 1 1/2 hrs., he's fishing again today.

Nice, I am trying to get back down there. Our annual Spring trip was a blow out, I need a good flounder trip!!

I talked to my buddy last night and his second day was not as good as his first. There first drift they had a keeper, fished the rest of the day and no more big enough to take home. I think they had about 30 fish with just one being a keeper.

Thanks for the report. I'll be down there at least one day this weekend and one day the weekend after so we'll report after. Hopefully someone has some better news on here before then!

Not supposed to take off work until Aug 15., short handed and way busy. Will be out of town working the last 2 weeks in July, hope to get down and fish a couple of Sat. before I leave.

I'll be down Friday-Sunday fishing Wachapreague 2 days (1 for flounder, 1 with a half day flounder half day sea bass, and 1 offshore if I can get a ride for us offshore if not it'll be a 3rd day flounder and sea bass)...anyone else going to be down there? PM me and we'll trade #'s...plus we'll be drinking and hanging out in the parking lot and at the Island House every night..

Mark.I hate you!LOL....Wish I could make it down with ya'..Sounds like my kinda time..We have to get together down there one of these days! Only had my Boat out 2 times this year.When we went to Wach. ,We took my neighbors Boat!In negotiations on another one now.Don't think its going to fly though.Trailer needs a ton of work,Boats been sittin' for 2 yrs. with 72 hrs. on it!Needless to say,He thinks it just needs fresh Fuel and a good run...NOT! If it runs lean from clogged filters or injectors...there goes a powerhead!
