Fished at 42 today in the NNAC tournament and we fished the flounder catagory. Ended the day with three flounder from 19, 21, and 22 inches. The 22 inch one went 4lbs 10 ozs. Best fish I have caught so far this year. As a matter of fact these are the first two flounder I have caught so far. It was very slow and I am amazed at the lack of number of fish there so late into the year. Oh well, we keep trying. Water was flat and the color of the day was green and pink, using cut bait and minnows. Good luck to all who go.

Congratulations with your success in the NNAC tournament. I also enjoyed an appreciated your seminar at the last meeting. Unfortunately I failed to catch a Flounder during the tournament. I did manage to catch the other tournament species (Croaker & Bluefish). They are not as difficult to find as Flounder, although catching big ones is always a challenge. I definitely need more practice before the "Flounder Bash". Your weekend was great - Nice going.
