Mackenna Jane week report 6-19 to 6-24

Tuesday 6-19 We fished 57 fathoms inside the poormans. A steady bite all day with mostly single bites, occasional doubles and one coverup towards the end of the day. We ended the day hooking 15, catching 14 yellowfin.

Thursday 6-21- We fished the hot dog and the Baltmore Canyon. Not a good ratio for us..I guess everyone has those days we went 3 for 9 on yellowfin.

Friday 6-22 . Fished the Baltimore down towards the crotch and caught 4 yellowfin and a couple gaffers. The better bite was up in 70 fathoms between the Baltimore and the Wilmington. I decided to grind it out where I was, as every time I got ready to run up their I got another bite!!

Saturday 6-23 Fished the hot dog and the 50 line just south of the Baltimore and caught 6 yellowfin and a gaffer. All single bites, for some reason this year jigging rods is not producing multiple hookups. I do not know why....

I would have been happy going 3 for 9 in BASEBALL. But losing 6 nice tuna SUCKed! Lost my favorite rig too...well, second favorite Cant wait for next for the next trip..water looking good!

We were due for that day. Our ratios have been awesome this year. Pic from last week was just sent to me by another boat. This is us fishing on Saturday

those guys do a fantastic job, and i always see them hammering the tunas. hats off to the captain and crew for posting numbers and staying on it.
