Love it...congrats!
Left OC inlet at about 4:30 pm Sunday afternoon to FLAT conditions... Arrived at the Washington tip at about 6:30pm or so, Set the spread out and we r fishin by 6:50... My boy Trent Hartman looks over n sees some whale action, I turn, we go past about 4 sharks, 1 Mako and huge whales then all hell breaks loose.... 3 rods go down, 1 let go right away and 2 hold tight sceeeeeeeeeaming the 50s.... We also had an 80 out that was not touched.. After a few mins one pulls but 1 remains, At 10:10pm we gaff a 223lb big eye......
Stuff him in the cabin and ride home as we used all the ice to pack him, Arrive back in OC at about 1:30am... All I wanted was some Dolphin![]()

great job Scott and a great fish. Congrads
Your the man Scott, great job. Hopefully we can get into them on Larry's boat.
Way to go on the eyballCongrats.
Those 50's look like a big reel until a beast comes calling. The sound the reel makes is unreal.
Congrats on gaffing the slob - that had feel great getting it after that long a fight.
What could be more mundane than dying of old age or of natural causes when there is death by misadventure to be pursued ? Skip
