    Moles might work well also...a fish from the Dogue Creek area.

    Not picky at all are they! We tried for them in the Mattawoman two weeks ago using big floating frogs thrown deep into the grass and pads. Could not raise one but the bass were crashing the baits. Caught a half dozen LMB. Nice pic. Thanks for sharing.

    Just for the record snakehead is so negative that the United Snakehead Union has contacted me and asked if we use the name "Potomac Pike" from now on..

    Today, at Willow Creek Marina on Aquia Creek, a fisherman brought in a snamkehead that was thirty-some inches long and about 10 - 12 pounds. He caught it way up the creek on a spinner bait. He said it was the only fish that he caught this morning.

    I caught a snake head this morning at Willow landing on Aquia creek too. Same size may have been me you talked to , but I caught mine on a black ribbit frog. I did talk to a younger guy in a kayak that caught one this morning too. Only about 20" and he caught it on a 10" purple worm as it was sinking.
