    Default Chumming for Cobes question.

I plan on chumming tomorrow. Running out of Lynnhaven and looking to set up just south of the Eastern Shore. Ive heard plenty of reports from Bluefish Rock and Grandview, but has anyone had any luck on Lamiter or the IMG? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I plan on using my usual spread, a mix of eels, bunker and live Croakers.

Suggest that you give it a try just southwest of the Highrise in 15 to 18 ft of depth.

I get my turn on cobia every year at the same place, might take a few visits, but it happens. I anchor at mile marker 14, which side depends on which way the tide is running when I plan to go. I put two on the bottom with fish finder rigs baited with bunker, one on the top free line, and one with a 4 oz inline with live eels. I start throwing a handful of chopped bunker every few minutes until I get a little slick going, I weed threw a few skates and sharks, but usually a cobia strikes sooner or later, I just haven't had any luck with sight fishing. Good luck when you go.
