    Default Fingers hotdog Sunday vb

    Heading there in small boat tomorrow out of Lynnhaven. Would love a report but I know everybody is in tournament tight lip mode. I am not tourney fishing and if anybody wants to buddy up let me know. "change of pez". 21 blue water

    Highest it has gotten at my house today is 90. Wish I had gone today but turns out the wife had a migraine this morning so I got to spend some quality time with little Gordon who's turning 1 next month. Couple more years and he'll be with me.

    Trolled from 2 miles outside the fingers to where the eyeballs were caught on the north wall. Saw two boats hook up but no other boats got bit. Backlash landed two nice ones. The outboard that hung one on a tld 25 pulled off after hours of fighting. We Ended up with bailers off the only lobster pot with them out of trolling by 20 or so. Very slow day for everybody.

    Unfortunately the outboard that had the big eye on a TLD 25 was me. We hooked him at 1230 and he hung the line on the motor bracket and broke off a little after 2. Heartbreaking. But being that it was my new boats first time to the canyon at least I can say she raises fish
