I'll be there on the 11 th.
The response to my post last week about what type of meeting to hold for July was definitely underwhelming. Nobody sounded interested in the on-the-water option. With that in mind, I am scheduling our July meeting for the second Wed of the month -- July 11 at 7:00 pm . Several SRRKC members expressed interest in holding a meeting at the new Greene Turtle restaurant in the restaurant park off of Jennifer Rd across from Annapolis Mall. It is located next to Famous Daves and near Fuddruckers.
My wife and I visited the Greene Turtle last night and enjoyed the food and drink selections. They have a side room for groups. I will try to reserve a space there for our group. Please reply indicating whether you plan to attend or not so we can give the restaurant a head count.

I'll be out of town, unfortunately.
I'm in.
After choosing the date myself, I find that one of my clients needs me in upstate NY that day. I will not be able to attend, but I'm sure Kim will handle things very capably.
After the meeting, please provide some feedback on using the Greene Turtle as a meeting place.

Have a race, so am out again. No Wed eve races after this month, so I hope to be back at SRRKC meetings beginning August.
I assume the upcoming white perch tourney will be one of the topics. I'm happy to "chair" it again, but will gladly hand over the honor if someone else wants the job.

I liked The Green Turtle for a meeting place. Food and Drink were nice. There was much more room to spread out than at West End - not sure we can alway get the back room, but main dining room seemed big enough and they also have 2 different outside seating areas. Plenty of TV's everywhere to keep up on the games. Not too noisy so conversations were easy. And... our waitress was a real hoot - sat down with us, told some jokes, and kept the drinks full.
