74lb State Record Rock Fish

Hello friends of the water ways, Im not sure why I'm not having much success on getting someone to come on board with the mounting of the State record Fish. I know I'm asking for something for free but I thought that Bass Pro Shops or Dick"s Sporting Goods would have jumped on the chance to have a copy of the fish in their showroom. I have been trying to get Bass Pro since Feb and Dick's since May but no luck. I have ask for a copy for myself and they will own the mold. Is that to much to ask for?

i'm thinking.........you've got $1,100 to spend on a charter boat with no guarantee of a fish, then you should have enough to mount the fish.

You're barking up the wrong tree. I landed the state record chain pickerel back in 1996. Granted, it's not in the same class as your fish but imagine my surprise when walking through BP a few years ago and there hanging above the fresh water reel display is a copy of my pickerel with my name and the date and location of where it was caught. I'm guessing they don't have to ask permission for anything.

Enjoy the record while it last because they rarely last long.
