Steve,
Thanks, you are too funny
Brian,
Good to hear from ya. Thanks for the note
Wes,
I have fun fishing with you regardless of the outcome. Although its awesome to get the target fish, no trip is ever wasted. I learn something new with each trip that I feel adds to my knowledge base and thus helps me become a better angler for the next trip out. Kevin and I could not have asked for a better Captain yesterday. I truly can appreciate the way you understand this fish. You rock!
Finfever21,
I am a believer in karma too. Thanks so much for your note.
SportinWood,
A lot of patience and time, chum (homemade if possible) and of course sharks, but when its payday..it is truly worth it to get on larger fish this early in the season.
mwills,
I have been hearing the same thing, lots of little rats out there on top right now. I believe the cobia spawning is still going on right now also which plays a role sight casting from what I have been told....
Ghostle,
Your welcome and thanks for your note![]()

Thanks Beth, I appreciate the response and info! Big fish report coming soon....
What a story.A reel tear jerker.I know you're glad you let her go.Congrats
Scottie and I were checking in from down here in Hatteras to see what was happening back home. What a great report! Glad to hear about the release....and what a touching story to tell in the future!
We have tried a few times for cobia without success. We keep thinking maybe one day. It is great to read about the cobia action back home. Beth I just love your stories.
We are spending our 40th wedding anniversary doing the only thing we wanted to do....spending it at our spot on hatteras island fishing.
Caught some Mahi on one trip and then two days ago got two white marlin citations, small Tuna, wahoo, and Mahi. We had four whites on at one time! Talk about crazy!
Waiting for the winds to slow down to head out another day or two.
Keep reporting those stories from back home....looking to head back out when we get home and just maybe catch a cobia!
Thanks again for the fantastic reports Beth. Linda
