Hey Mike, left you something on the boat..Oh and I agree, that fish was really well behaved. More than any other cobia I have been in contact with..Small price to pay for freedom I guess you could say, I may have thought differently had she finned, bit me, or tried to whack me with that tail!(lol)

Congrats on your Cobia citation, I think it's great the you released it so it could continue to reproduce and provide a strong stock for the future. evverything does not have to be killed to enjoy our great fishery. Though they are good to eat!

Thanks & I agree. I usually decide to release my fish depending on the situation. I am sure I will keep a few also as I love the steaks they have to offer no doubt but these fish are spawning right now and I felt it was the right thing to do.. Congrats to you and Fred on the recent cobia release and citation red drum release as well Roy. Way to Get 'er done!!!
