Should be able to drop a ton of weight off your belt especially with those LP108's. Love my steel tanks. Hate if I'm away and have to use AL tanks.
Good luck if you get out Sunday.
Im trading in my alum 80's for some l/p steel 108"s.Hopefully dive sat. Will post results. P,S. check out joel23454 on u-tube

Nice video. Never dove the dry docks before, it was nice to get an idea of what it looks like. It looked like your buddy was diving a Faber steel. Possibly that 108 LP you're trying today or the LP 92? Any reason you're considering the LP 108 and not the HP 100? I think the size of the LP 108 is much bigger than a HP 100 and it weighs a lot more empty.
I'd drop at least 6 pounds on the first dive going from AL 80 to Steel 108. Maybe even 8 and by the time you're dialed in I bet you could drop even more.
The camera mask looks to take decent video. Does the camera make it seem like there's less vis than what it really was? Andy's go pro makes it seem that way. It gets very green. This is our dive from a few weeks ago. Although the vis looked good for OC, it was actually better than what it looked like on go pro video.
