Eating Size Spot ?

My wife likes to catch and eat spot. So far, I have not seen or heard of any eating size spot caught anywhere. Is anyone catching them, anywhere??

Me and my dad tried to catch spot for livlinling at thomas point today and could only catch 8 to 9 inch spots except for 5 smaller ones

All i've been hearing have been the tiny "peanut" spot (3-5"ers), and some mixed in 5-8"ers... No BIG SANDWICH size spot i've heard of yet...

I bottom fished at many locations between Sandy Point and the South River this morning. I caught a few spot -- all small. By far the most abundant catch was small croaker -- there must be many millions of them carpeting the bars on the western shore.
