Default Keeping it simple, Trim Tabs

My port trim tab quit on me and has been a real PIA. All the signs point to a burnt out solinoid. Well, we were supposed to go cruising (103 temp outside HOT!) and the wife and daughter decide to take a nap. Oh well. I take this time to fix the darn trim tab. I call around and find a new part. 30 min drive each way and $55, I should be golden when the gals wake up.

I look one more time at Bennets web site to see if I will need ANYTHING else, nope I am good. I have to keep skimming by the check the wiring BS, cuz I KNOW MINE is good. Right? I went to pulld the part and the wiring cuppling unplugs! WHAT I plug it back in and it WORKS!

I was just reminded to Keep it simple and follow the directions

    Ted,

I am delighted that your Trim Tabs are working again! If you have not sprayed a corrosion inhibitor on the plug for the pump, I would recommend you do so to keep the contacts for the pump motor and solenoids clean and working.
