Latest update. In addition to the SurfRider BBQ, we will also have all you can eat oysters thanks to Joyner Brothers Oyster Company. We will also be having two live bands playing all ranges of music. This tournament is going to be one for the ages and the biggest cobia tournament on the east coast. 1st place is $4000 guaranteed. Our sponsors list is growing day by day.

Also for the tournament weekend, White House Cove Marina will allow boats entered in the tournament a free transient slip on a first come first serve basis! Yeah, you read that right, free boat slip for the weekend if you're entered in the tournament as long as they are available. Don't wait as they are sure to fill up quick!

Several reports of big Cobia over the weekend. Two of my buddies had a 65lb and a 73lber on Saturday. Big fish are starting to show just in time. Remember, the deadline for early entry is August 1st!

When is entry cut off? How much does the biggest fish by a woman win? And calcutta prize?

You can register for the tourney at the Capt. Meeting Friday evening. The biggest fish caught by a woman wins her $100 and the calcutta is $100 entry and there is going to be a 60/40 split with 60% going to the single largest fish and 40% going to the 2nd largest fish.

My wind source is saying SW 10 or less the bulk of the day. That's the opposite of crappy in my book.
