Heading out of OC on Saturday if weather looks good, would like to have a buddy boat out there if possible. Open to suggestions on where to fish and willing to leave dock at any time.
I been doing the offshore thing for years on other peoples boats, never had a boat big enough until now to comfortably / safely fish offshore. Taking out a new to me boat, a Formula F233, have been shaking it down with several 80+ mile days on the bay and just got electronics / VHF radio installed last week. Also got Seatow, but taking the wife and she will be more comfortable knowing we have someone nearby just in case.
Thanks,
John

Don't worry....you will have all the buddies you could possibly want.
Seriously though.........I may be going on Sat........I usually mate on a boat in NJ on the weekends but for some odd reason we are not booked this week. If the date does not get filled I plan on heading out to sling some meat. I'd be happy to buddy up.
About 75% sure that we are going to go, planning on chunking either Fingers/Hambone or the dog not sure yet.
I am on a Parker 2120 SC, boat name "MAKOWISH", happy to stay in touch if I am out. Keep in mind there will be plenty of boats out this weekend with the OC Tuna Tournament. Will be lots of chum in the water!
