windy fishing lower potomac

Went out Weds and fished at buoy #7 and the reef. There was one school of rock that was fun to run through at about 12:00. Picked up 8 and lost 1 but they were just shy of being keepers. I was using bucktails and they were hitting at all levels.

Trolling ?? Or were you throwing to breaking schools?? I haven't seen birds and breaking schools like in the past years .... something is definitely different this year!

Trolling. I also haven't seen any breaking fish this year.

It is crazy how there is so few birds in the area and next to no fish! In years past we would just spend the evening chasing birds working but this year is way off.
