From Italy, right! In southern Pa. all the Tailapi comes from southeast asia.

Ha this is great, I have this conversation all the time with people. Tilapia is nasty! I love that restaurants try to pass it off as some high end fish and everyone believes it. I have actually had semi-arguments with waiters when they claim its some great fish. They sell a ceerap product and charge a lot for it.

I agree....I tell them where to put their dirty tilapia and instead bring me some clean-livin', lovingly raised beef or chicken.

What do you think a crab eats?? Anything and everything. Why do you put catfish in your aquariums. They clean it and eat waste. Why is everybody so worried about what a Tiliapi eats. If it tastes good eat it! If you have ever lived on a farm and see what the animals eat, this conversation would not be happening................Gary
