Woody, there is a lot of good eating in that cooler.
I've been catching fish on your glow jigs in areas similar to what you described.
Glad you ate here instead of in TN.
I got out with my good friend Dick on the Severn river and the tide was midway out going at 5am with little to no wind.We started at the reef outside of Asquith creek and the bait fish were everywhere. We were vertical jigging and Dick caught two small perch and then the bite stop.So we went in to Asquith creek and started working the shore line with my 1/32oz Glo-jig under a float and my 1/8oz feather spinner bait in my new UV blast Glo white w/white and chartreuse feathers. The fishing started off on the slow side but pick up when the tide started back in.We were catching perch around 4" to 10" and lots of them and after catching 150 in this creek it was time to move on.So we started working the inside edge of the grass beds with small perch and then we went to the outside edge of the grass beds and the bite was on.The perch were from 8" to 12 1/2" and just about one per cast on both baits. We caught another 150 or better and at the end of the day my good friend Dick took 72 real nice perch home and the the others we let go.So if you plan to go fishing good luck and GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS.........WOODY![]()
