Pasquotank River White Perch

Went out in the kayak Sunday morning for about 2 hrs or so. Lots and Lots of white perch, 56 and a couple rock and one croaker, most are small but we did get about 15 or so that were as big as I have ever caught. All on bettle spins and shrimp flavored fish bites.

Had so much fun yesterday I had to try again this afternoon, this thime my wife, daughter, son-in-law and another friend went in the boat. Same shore line same results, caught about 40 with 9 keepers. Wife was on fire with a fish about every other cast for the first 15 minutes. Fish were not holding tight against structure like yesterday. A little bit harder to maneuver a 19' boat than a 12' kayak but it still worked out ok.
